Overview

A manufacturing company is seeking a Receiving Coordinator who will be responsible for the receiving and general inspection of incoming raw materials for quality defects.
This is a full-time position working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
Safely unload all incoming raw materials and finished goods products, inspect deliveries to ensure they match purchase order and invoice criteria, sign off on deliveries, and process returns for unsatisfactory items.
Receive and process all work orders through Epicor.
Maintain files of all inspection documentation as required.
Coordinate on-site deliveries of ocean containers and assist in unloading.
Communicate quality concerns to Quality Control Department and with purchasing and warehouse supervisor on shortages and damaged products.
Work in warehouse or shipping and handle dock cleanliness.
Make local deliveries and pickups using a company truck, and transport boxes of raw materials using a tow motor.
Has regular and punctual attendance in accordance with company attendance policy.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, follow all safety rules and regulations, and adhere to all environmental regulations.
Complete all required records, reports, and forms in a neat, accurate, and timely fashion.
Detect and report any faulty equipment, defective material, improper operation, or unsafe or unusual condition to a supervisor or other responsible manager.
Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have previous Warehouse or Receiving experience.
Knowledge of production processes, products, and ERP Systems, documented procedures, forms, and instructions is needed.
Must have a good understanding of warehouse safety with good math skills.
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds with physical dexterity.
Must be able to operate a tow motor and obtain a valid operators license.
Must have the ability to maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues.
