Job Description
Structural Steel Project ManagerA highly-respected Steel Fabricator and Erector is seeking an Project Manager to join their team. I am working with a company that are responsible for fabricating work throughout the pacific northwest from Alaska to Hawaii. Their main markets include the commercial, industrial, aerospace, and entertainment industries. They have not only quickly became the go to name in steel fabrication and erection working with some of the worlds most recognizable brands, They have received numerous quality, performance, and safety awards doing so. You’d be responsible for managing steel projects anywhere from $500k-$50M range.*This position is in a mountain town in MontanaKey Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of structural steel projects from initial planning to final completion.
- Conduct site visits, coordinate with engineers and architects, manage project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and industry regulations.
- Review project plans and ensure high standards of work.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years in the structural steel industry.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Tekla, Fabtrol, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
- Strong understanding of structural steel projects, construction materials, building codes, and industry standards.
- Ability to create comprehensive project plans, monitor and track project expenses, and maintain project schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
