Description and FunctionsOpen Until FilledGENERAL DESCRIPTION:To provide the retail licensees of the State of Wyoming with an assortment of wines and spirits in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.Human Resource Contact: Rose Richardson / / 307-777-7966ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function performed at the job level.
- Pick bottles and cases and prepare for shipment to fulfill the mission. Assist in Specials when assigned.
- Unload, check-in, receive, and put away truckloads of product to include; listed, specials, and seasonal/One-time Buy.
- Report any safety issues that come up during the shift and report the issue to the Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Train employees on the proper use of material handling equipment and replenishment.
- Fill out breakage slips and time-off requests correctly.
- Conduct regular and/or spot-check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
- Maintains accurate records and logs.
- Delivers items that are either stored in a secure warehouse or received by the warehouse.
QualificationsKNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and techniques, including sorting and stacking.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local policies and regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience Substitution:
1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Purchasing or Inventory)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
NoneOREducation:Associate’s Degree (typically in Finance)Experience:No prior experience requiredNecessary Special RequirementsPHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a sustained rate regularly.
