Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.Location: Hot Springs, SD, 57747Assignment Start Date: 2/24/2025Assignment Shift: Nights and EveningsFacility Salary: $41,600.00 to $48,921.60Responsibilities:

• Performs patient care activities including answering call lights, serving and collecting food trays, feeding patients as needed, measuring and recording food and liquid intake, and all output including drainage systems as ordered. Performs activities of daily living, i.e., dresses and undresses patient, bathes and performs personal care to include oral hygiene, pericare, foley care, backrubs, and shaving in a manner consistent with maintaining patient privacy and dignity.
• Performs routine treatments/procedures including warm and cold applications, and assists RN/LPN with complicated treatment procedures.
• Collects specimens, i.e., stool, urine, or sputum. Takes and records vital signs, weights, and height.
• Provides general nursing care such as positioning patients, lifting and turning patients, applying/utilizing special equipment, assisting in the use of bedpan and urinal commodes, and ambulating patients.
• Assists in preparations of units, patient rooms, and beds for receiving patient admissions, transfers, emergencies, and discharges.
• Assures patient rooms and work areas are clean and safe.
• Cares for patients in the ER under the supervision of the RN, and reports any changes observed in the condition or behavior of patients to the RN/LPN.
• Maintains established facility and department policies, procedures and objectives, fire, safety, environmental, quality assurance, hazardous material, and infection control policies. Knows personal role in fire drills.
• Attends required meetings, in-services, and educational programs; keeps up to date on posted information, notes, and minutes
• Serves on nursing service committees as requested.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONExperience:

• Clinical experience preferred; Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing related bedside resident care services as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Must have current South Dakota Certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to fulfill the expectations of this position as indicated in the measures of effectiveness and meet the physical requirements of the position as defined in this role summary.
• Mechanical lifts, telephone equipment, carts, wheelchairs, positioning devices, mechanical beds, resident beds, thermometers (digital, glass, tympanic), stethoscopes, blood pressure equipment, and other resident care equipment as deemed necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of all work information.
• Demonstrate an ability to function successfully in a team environment.
• Exhibit courteous, compassionate, and respectful treatment of internal and external customers.
• Displays a positive attitude and flexibility in changing situations. Participates in identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
