The world can’t wait.You Have:2+ years of experience with system engineering activities including requirements analysis, engineering, design, integration, sustainment, testing, and technology refreshExperience assessing satellite communications system architectures and current hardware limitations, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches, design, development, and implementationExperience participating in the planning, organizing, and conducting of technical projects design and development, testing, fielding, and sustainmentExperience with developing systems engineering plans identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks, and developing mitigation plansExperience analyzing, evaluating, and planning methods of approach to achieve solutions to complex technical problemsExperience coordinating and consolidating design efforts on major projectsKnowledge of SATCOM Gateway and Teleport architectures and capabilitiesKnowledge of security architecture evaluation, guidance development, and troubleshootingSecret clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:2+ years of experience in a military communications field, including Defense Information Systems Networks, commercial networks, and coalition network connectivityKnowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Satellite Communications, and IP network technologiesKnowledge of DoDI 5000.02 acquisition life cycle and systems engineering requirementsKnowledge of wideband, narrowband, and protected military satellite communicationsBachelor’s degreeINCOSE ASEP or CSEP, Security+, and CCNA CertificationsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
