Job Description:TLC Nursing is actively hiring experienced Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses (RN) for high-paying travel contracts across multiple states. - Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and assessing patient progress.
- Manage ED Holds, ensuring patient stability and readiness for transfer.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills for monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to emergencies with swift, professional decision-making.
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and health management.
Requirements: Active RN License in the state of practice (or compact license)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
ED Hold experience strongly preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification required
