Job Description:Optometrist OD – Part Time PositionThe Company: Patients in and around Pontiac, Michigan come to our Client for specialized eye care, where they’re always treated as individuals, not as numbers on a spreadsheet. That individualized approach enables them to create a customized treatment plan for each man and woman who turns to the practice for eye and vision health care.The Position: We are looking for a part time Optometrist who is passionate about their work and servicing in the Pontiac, Michigan community. Will be working alongside a top Ophthalmologist and Medical Administration in a private practice. The client offers the following salary and benefits.
- Starting $65 – $75 Per Hour Depending on Experience. Wages can increase and restructure compensation based on productivity.
- Licensing Fees are 100% covered by the employer.
- CME Feels are 100% covered by the employer.
- Malpractice insurance is 100% covered by the employer.
- Full administrative staff available on site
- Able to Train and Grow within the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule: Wednesday (~8am – 12pm), Thursday (~11:30am – 3pm), Friday (7:30am – 3pm).
- Will have a dedicated Tech on every shift.
- Perform Evaluations and Screenings.
- Discern Secondary Eye Conditions related to underlying medical conditions: Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, i.e.
- Route Patients Up or Down to Ophthalmologist based on medical evaluation.
- Prescribe Glasses & Contacts.
- Diagnose Anterior Eye conditions.
Requirements:
- Active Michigan Optometrist License
- 1 Year Experience Preferred
