Kitchen DesignerLocation: Colorado | Job Type: Part Time – Approximately 15 hours / week. You’ll work closely with clients, vendors, and installation teams to ensure designs are executed flawlessly, with both creativity and precision.What You’ll DoAs a Kitchen Designer, you will:Meet with clients to understand their vision, goals, and lifestyle needsDevelop layout plans, 2D/3D renderings, and finish schedules using design software (Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, or Compusoft Winner)Create detailed cabinetry and installation plans, including elevations and material specificationsPrepare and present design proposals, material samples, and pricing quotesCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project timelineOversee projects from design through installation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and client satisfactionMaintain organized project files, documentation, and ongoing communication with all stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience using CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, Compusoft Winner a plus)Previous experience in kitchen design and a strong understanding of space planning and cabinetry layout2+ years in a sales or client-facing design environmentKnowledge of cabinetmaking, finishes, materials, and general construction practicesStrong ability to read architectural plans and create detailed technical drawingsExcellent communication, presentation, and customer service skillsOutstanding organizational and time management skillsA proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple projectsRespect for diverse client preferences, budgets, and design stylesPreferred (Not Required):Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related fieldExperience working with the metric systemFamiliarity with the details and nuances of kitchen constructionCompensationHourly pay between 35-50 per hour, based on performance and experience.
