JOB DESCRIPTION: The Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing and servicing clients’ commercial insurance policies. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met, and providing exceptional service to maintain client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.SCOPE OF WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Commercial Lines CSR for McMichael Insurance your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and service clients’ commercial insurance policies, ensuring their coverage needs are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business operations and insurance requirements.
- Handle client inquiries, policy changes, and claims promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals, renewals, and policy changes to clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
- Maintain all client files in the agency management system with full policy detail and use the system for all transactions and activities
- Process and respond to email in a timely manner
- Prepare necessary binding documents for new and renewal business
- Forward renewal instructions to carrier and follow up to make sure policies are processed timely
- Issue License & Permit, Payment and Performance bonds
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:· Minimum 3 – 5 years of commercial insurance experience· Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance License; designations of CPCU, RPLU, ARM and CIC are a plus· Experience in quoting and marketing commercial insurance coverages· Proficient in completing ACORD and supplemental applications· Skilled in working with underwriters to remarket and retain existing business· Experience collaborating with multiple insurance carriers· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word· Required experience with an agency management system· Experience with CRM software is a plusDESIRED TRAITS:· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment· Effective performance under pressure· Proficiency in multitasking and task prioritization· Strong problem-solving abilitiesThis is a remote position.
