Join us at our co-ed day and overnight camp nestled in beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled nurse to be part of our Health Center team for the 2025 summer season. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to create lasting memories while making a meaningful impact on the lives of campers and staff.Location: Cape Cod, MassachusettsEmployment Type: Full-Time (5 days on / 2 days off)Shifts: Night Shift (4:30 PM – 8:30 AM) – June 11 to August 13, 2025Competitive Pay: $1,500.00/weekManageable Hours: Medication rounds end by 9:30 PM, with mornings starting at 7:30 AM.Residential Perks: Live on-site in a scenic Cape Cod setting with a supportive team.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy two 24-hour rest days each week.Prime Location: Located just an hour from Boston and close to shopping, entertainment, and markets.
Licensing Support: We’ll reimburse you for obtaining a Massachusetts RN license, if needed.
Travel Costs: Considered on a case-by-case basis.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Camp Nurse, you’ll ensure the well-being of our camp family by:
- Providing compassionate daily care for campers and staff.
- Administering medications safely and accurately.
- Responding promptly to medical needs and emergencies.
- Communicating clearly with parents to maintain transparency and trust.
- Collaborating with the Camp Director to address health concerns.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate health records.
- Accompanying campers and staff on trips to ensure their safety.
- Delivering health and safety training for staff during orientation.
- Escorting individuals to medical appointments or emergency care when necessary.
- Fostering a culture of health and wellness across the camp.
Minimum RequirementsWe’re searching for a caring and capable nurse who possesses:
- A valid RN license in Massachusetts (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with children in youth-oriented settings such as schools or camps.
- A warm, approachable, and positive demeanor.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Availability for the entire camp season, June 11 to August 13, 2025.
