Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Tech or Ag Equipment Mechanic / Diesel Technician for a well-respected, multi-location Ag Equipment Sales and Service company. Qualified applicants understand the importance of doing a job correctly and the value of satisfied customers. Regular duties include basic diagnostics, full-service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment in the shop and service locations.About the Company:

Ag Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Deliver quality repairs in a timely fashion.
• Work as part of a team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly manner.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.

Ag Equipment Mechanic Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience performing service repairs, preferred.
• Will consider heavy equipment experience, but prefer farm machinery experience.
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy parts repeatedly.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for field service positions.

Pay:

• Compensation between $30 – $36 / hour.
• Pay is based on experience and ability, and could be higher than listed for techs with proven skills.
• An additional credit per hour can be achieved between $5 – $15, based on work efficiency.
• The company also provides incentive training as well as additional efficiency bonuses.

• For the field service position, must have clean driving record.
